Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir Ahmed el-Rufai has emerged as the Best Governor of the State between the period of 1999 to 2021 in providing good governance.
Governor el-Rufai clinched the award Sunday at the maiden edition of the Kaduna Political Awards, organized by Kaduna Political Affairs Media Services.
Politics 1-0-1, Salama 98.1FM, Kafanchan won the Best Radio Political programme of the year, and the Head of Marketing, Richard Pius Garba, who is also Host of the programme, promised the people the best.Barewa College, Zaria won the Best Secondary School Category. While KEA Adams emerged the Youth with a difference.
Talking about the concept of the Kaduna Political Awards, the organizer, David Hyacinth Miji, said it was out to up the ante of recognizing merit by putting things in proper perspective, as what is worth doing, is worth doing well.
Invicta FM Correspondent, Ango Bally, who cover the colourful event, reports that the Kaduna Political Awards which was officially launched yesterday, is expected to be an annual event, with the next edition to take place in December, 2022.
